What if it Rains or Inclement Weather?
 
The Music City Jazz Festival is a Rain or Shine Event.  Safety of all Patrons, Artist, Vendors and Staff is our first priority.  Unless really severe weather presents a danger to the artist or guest, every act that can perform, will perform.  There are no refunds for inclement weather or Acts of God.  It will be the discretion of Local Officials, Governing Authorities and Promoters to delay, suspend or cancel a show due to the above conditions.  If Rain Only, Bring a plastic poncho and enjoy the show!  
 
 
Rules:  NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED, No Knives or Weapons Allowed, No Glass Containers, No Open or Unsealed Containers, No high-back chairs with umbrellas that impede visibility, No Rolling Coolers, No drugs and drug paraphernalia, No tents, No grills, No pets, No video cameras, No professional cameras with a removable lens (DSLR), No audio recording, No flags, No camelbacks, canteens, or Bota Bags, All attendees will be subject to search.
 
Bags/Coolers:  SMALL COOLERS ARE ALLOWED.  NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN RIVERFRONT PARK.
 
WIDE ASSORTMENT OF FOOD & BEVERAGE VENDORS WILL BE ONSITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.  .  
 
ALL COOLERS, CHAIR BAGS, BACK PACKS & PURSES WILL BE CHECKED UPON ENTRY
 
All tickets will include Local and State Taxes, Riverfront Park facility fee, processing and shipping charges added to your total.
 
Q.  Is there seating for people with Disabilities?  
A.  Yes.  There is General Admission Seating for those who may have Disabilities. You can Purchase ADA Seating Tickets in the General Admission Tickets Tab.  Seating is located to the right of the stage.  There will be ample signs directing to this seating area.  Please see Venue Map.
 
Q.  Is there parking for people with Disabilities?
A.  Yes.  We have parking setup with Nissan Titans Stadium (1Titans Way, Nashville, TN) for the MCJF in Lot N.  You must have your ADA Tag displayed to enter and gain use of the shuttle to Riverfront Park.  However, there is closer paid parking directly across the street from Riverfront Park.  We would suggest that if you are riding with someone to have them drop you off at the main gate.  Also see:  http://www.titansonline.com/stadium/directions-parking.html 
 
Q.  What time gates open Friday, May 26th? 
A. Gates (General Admission) open at 1:00pm on May 26th (VIP/VIP Tables and Umbrella Tables) Gate open at Noon, show starts at 2:00 pm. You will be allowed to come in and setup your chairs and reenter the festival as long as you have on an armband which you will get upon initial entry into the festival.
 
Q.  What time gates open Saturday, May 27th?
A.  Gates (General Admission) open at 10:00 am on May 27th (VIP/VIP Tables and Umbrella Tables) Gate open at 9:30 am show starts at 11:00 am.  You will be allowed to come in and setup your chairs and reenter the festival as long as you have on an armband which you will get upon initial entry into the festival.
 
Q.  Haven’t got my ticket, where will they be sold?
A.  If you haven’t purchased your ticket by May 25th, they will be sold at the Main Box office located in front (Main Entrance) of Riverfront Park, open Friday at 11:00am and Saturday 9:00am. For will call and day of show purchases, our remote box office is located to the left of the entry gates.  GET YOUR TICKETS EARLY.  THIS EVENT IS EXPECTED TO SELLOUT WELL BEFORE THE FESTIVAL
 
 
Q.  Where can I park?
A.  Parking is located all around the venue.  Nissan Stadium across the Cumberland River will have ample parking.  You can walk over to Riverfront Park from the Pedestrian Bridge connecting Nissan Stadium Parking and Riverfront Park. There is also paid parking lots parking across the street from Riverfront Park.  Please make sure your car is secure.  
 
 Q.  I have General Admission Tickets, where do I enter?
A.  General Admission ticketholders enter the General Admission Line at the gate
 
Q.  I have VIP Tickets, where do I enter?
A.  VIP ticketholders enter the VIP Ticket Line at the gate.
 
Q.  I have VIP Seats, VIP Table Seats or Umbrella Table Seats, can I bring a chair?
A.  NO. Chairs will be provided for VIP Tables, VIP Chairs and Umbrella Tables SMALL COOLERS ARE ALLOWED AT TABLES AND SEATS, HOWEVER NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN RIVERFRONT PARK.
 
Q.  What can I bring for General Admission Seating Area 
A.  The Music City Jazz Festival is an outdoor event.  Bring your own bag chair seating, blankets, and lighting for after dark, sunglasses/sunscreen, binoculars, insect repellent, etc. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL- however, alcoholic beverages may be purchased at the event. SMALL COOLERS WITH OUTSIDE FOOD ARE ALLOWED in Riverfront Park.  FOOD AND BEVERAGE VENDORS WILL BE ONSITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.
 
Q.  May I bring a cooler?
A.  YES.  SMALL COOLERS (ONLY) ARE ALLOWED IN RIVERFRONT PARK.  If you have a LARGE COOLER, a festival staff member will ask you return it to your vehicle. This is for the safety of all patrons and requirement of the Homeland Security Act. There will be both nonalcoholic & alcoholic beverages available for sale by our great Food & Beverage Vendors.
 
Q.  May I bring a picnic lunch?
A.  YES.  Please bring enough food for your comfort and enjoyment.  Please note:  Large Roll Coolers are not allowed in Riverfront Park.  Food & Beverage Vendors will be onsite to serve the needs of our guest and add quality to the event.
 
Q.  What if it Rains?
A.  The festival is a Rain or Shine Event.  Unless really severe weather presents a danger to the artist or guest, every act that can perform, will perform.  There are no refunds for inclement weather.  Bring a plastic poncho just in case.  
 
Q.  Can I have an umbrella up if it’s hot during the show?
A.  No. Umbrellas are not to be in the up position while artist are performing.  Umbrellas are permitted up between shows only.
 
Q.  Are credit/debit cards accepted at the festival?
A.  Yes.  Tickets may be purchased with cash or credit/debit cards in advance or on the day of the festival.  Most, if not all vendor purchases are CASH ONLY on the day of the event.  PLEASE BRING CASH…
 
 
Q.  Are pass outs allowed?
A.  Yes.  If you have to leave out please make sure you have an armband to regain access back into the festival.  NO ARMBAND, NO ENTRY.
 
Q.  Are pets allowed?
A.  No. Pets are not allowed at our event. (ONLY SERVICE PETS ARE ALLOWED FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES).
